SalaryBVK is seeking a talented Senior Art Director to join our team. The Senior Art Director is a well-established and proven creative with high design standards. They are expected to consistently deliver great ideas that are on strategy, as well as shape and influence client campaigns. The ideal candidate combines speed, volume, and craftsmanship to create work that stands out in our respective client categories and connects to culture in new and relevant ways. As Senior Art Director, you’re ready to help manage creative teams and present to clients. In this position, craft is everything so having the vision and stamina to lead production partners with confidence is important. The Senior Art Director has a non-stop work ethic, high emotional intelligence and an ego that very rarely gets in the way. Chemistry and solidarity with fellow creatives are a must. No lone wolves or one-man-shows.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and own work with minimal oversight or creative direction
- Develop a broad range of on-strategy ideas quickly (usually within 48 hrs)
- Concept, art direct as well as develop campaign comps
- Articulate and package ideas in a clear, easy-to-understand manner
- Think at a “platform”, media-agnostic level
- Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Establish art direction, style and tone for multi-media brand campaigns
- Learn the needs, proclivities and nuances of assigned clients
- Handle all aspects of production and post-production with limited oversight
- Give and receive constructive feedback
- Mentor and lead other creatives
- Accountable to creative partner and other members of the team
- Stay on top of creative trends in advertising, culture and media
Position Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as an Art Director or Senior Art Director
- An exceptional body of work that shows smart thinking and tasteful execution
- Effective communication skills, including ability to present recommended ideas
- Strong digital mindset
- Production experience with different types of media
- Ability to manage workloads and multiple assignments over a given time
- Highly proficient using Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven track record of collaborating with integrated teams
