Company Overview:

STS Component Solutions, part of the renowned STS Aviation Group, is actively seeking a Senior AOG Parts Controller. This unique remote position offers the opportunity to deliver critical aircraft parts support to airlines on a 24/7 basis, ensuring rapid response for out-of-service aircraft across the United States.

Position Summary:

The Senior AOG Parts Controller is responsible for managing all aspects of aircraft parts and material support for Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations and other critical maintenance needs. This role demands a high level of responsiveness and precision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure aircraft parts for AOG, line maintenance, and other critical maintenance needs in real-time.
  • Coordinate loans and manage reports on loan orders and returns.
  • Ensure all AOG requisitions are fulfilled within a four-hour timeframe.
  • Accurately complete transactions in TRAX for loans, borrows, and other AOG functions.
  • Update maintenance deferrals with pertinent supply chain information.
  • Track critical parts needs, including items that may cause aircraft grounding or are below allocation.
  • Liaise with Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and various stations to handle parts/material requests efficiently.
  • Enforce vendor agreement terms and conduct invoice reviews and purchase approvals.
  • Support a collaborative work environment and escalate critical information or concerns promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in supply chain, business, or a related technical aviation field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in purchasing or inventory planning, including at least 4 years of AOG experience within the airline industry or a military equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of aviation supply chain and parts procurement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, technical data, and ERP systems, particularly TRAX.

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and possibly travel as business needs dictate.

  • Proactive and driven to quickly resolve urgent needs.
