SENIOR ANALYTICS DEVELOPER

LOCATION AND WORK:
This position is located at our Independence, Ohio location. The ability to work in our office, with a hybrid schedule is required.

ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM:
As a Sr Analytics Developer, you will be a leader in the development of our core business intelligence products and solutions. You'll work within our Information Technology Product Development team to architect, build and document new features and functionalities into our business intelligence solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make our internal users raving fans by enhancing the value that our products and solutions can provide
  • Architect, build, and utilize Business Intelligence technologies as part of the IT Internal Development team
  • Analyze, design, implement and support data models, dashboards, and reports
  • Provide documentation and training on features to internal user departments
  • Develop within an agile product development methodology
  • Help identify and prioritize new uses for our BI solution
  • Leverage skills in data warehousing concepts, database development, and the related Microsoft Business Intelligence and Data Management technologies
  • Implement and support routines to ingest and transform new data from a variety of data sources
  • Be a team player; be open; be ready; be flexible
  • Perform other duties as assigned as needed to help drive our vision, fulfil our mission, and support our organization’s values
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in Business Intelligence and data warehousing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power BI (Data Modelling and Report creation)
  • Overall experience with the Microsoft BI stack preferred
  • Deep understanding of relational and columnar databases
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Azure SQL (preferably Microsoft T-SQL) is required
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Synapse Analytics is a plus
  • Ability to coordinate development efforts and proficiently use source control
  • Experience in the Logistics/Supply Chain industry preferred
  • Experience with data modelling methodologies and tools
  • Desire and passion to stay up to date on relevant technologies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinker
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Self-starter, independently driven
