The Senior Analytical Technicianconducts chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist Scientists, Engineers, and production in making qualitative and quantitative Analysis.. As required, the Analytical Technician will also perform quality control testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications. This position may also be required to perform other R D functions as directed by the Analytical Laboratory Manager.

Job Responsibilities
- Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, microscopy, rheology, and physical and chemical separation techniques
- Collect, interpret and report data adhering to guidelines on documentation
- Develop technical reports to document experiments and interpretation of results
- Provide technical support and assistance to Scientist and Engineers
- Monitor raw material and product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
- Responsible for calibration, performance monitoring and operation of equipment
- Provide and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Thermal analysis and rheological instruments (DSC, TGA, RPA, DHR)
- Spectroscopy instruments (FTIR, MS)
- Chromatography instruments (GC, LC)
- Microscopy instruments (SEM, optical)
- Laboratory physical test equipment (Instrons, viscometers, and others)Adhesive, sealant, tape application equipment (paint brush roller, spray gun, caulking gun)
- Lab and trial reports in a laboratory information management system
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Biology, or related field
- 2+ years of analytical or quality assurance experience in a relatable industry
- Preferred experience with LC/MS or GC or GC/MS or FTIR or GC or LC
