Senior Analyst - Financial Restructuring (Consultant)
Overview: As a Senior Analyst in Financial Restructuring working as a client-facing consultant, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing expert guidance and support to companies facing financial challenges. This role involves working closely with diverse clients at their sites, analyzing their financial situations, and crafting tailored restructuring strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
On-site Consulting and Financial Assessment:
- Engage directly with client teams at their locations to assess financial health and restructuring needs.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, examining business issues, financial statements, cash flows, and debt structures.
Tailored Restructuring Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders and senior management to design customized restructuring plans aligned with their specific needs.
- Present and discuss restructuring strategies, considering various scenarios and potential outcomes.
Negotiation and Implementation Support:
- Assist in negotiations with creditors, banks, and other relevant parties to secure favorable restructuring agreements.
- Support the implementation of restructuring plans, ensuring alignment with client goals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and providing expert financial advice.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute restructuring plans effectively.
Risk Assessment and Market Insight:
- Identify potential risks associated with restructuring plans and provide proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions impacting Financial Restructuring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or CFA designation preferred).
- 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or restructuring advisory services.
- Proven ability to work effectively as a consultant, preferably with experience at client sites.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical aptitude with expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Familiarity with bankruptcy laws, debt instruments, and financial markets.

Wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions. Exact compensation may vary based on factors including skills, experience, certification, license and location. A reasonable estimate of current total compensation range including potential discretionary incentives is $175,000 to $275,000 USD annual for CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NJ, NY, OH, RI, and WA.
