Performs professional level analysis and control functions in area of assignment.
Major/Essential Functions
Works independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical duties to support the Department of Psychiatry. Monitors administrative projects, maintains accurate records, maintains detailed notes and records. Assists with analyzing everyday Human Resource activities for designated programs within the Department of Psychiatry. Reviews Human Resource reports, monitor positions. Provides advice and guidance to Director of Finance on future HR plans. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Is able to effectively communicate using various means and platforms. Ensures all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.

- Ensures business processes, administration.
- Assists with planning activities with departmental leadership to achieve program goals.
- Oversee hiring process of team members using BrassRing and work closely with Human Resources.
- Reviews and processes HR transactions and payroll transactions (EOPs, EPAFs and LRDs) promptly and in compliance with State and Institutional Operating Policies.
- Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all HR transactions within the department programs.
- Provide information by answering questions and requests
- Handle multiple projects
- Provides supporting documents to requesting departments (HR, Payroll) in a timely manner.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Receive, sort and distribute the mail
- Run Cognos reports as required to provide decision support to program leadership.
- Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of all programs.
- Maintains and updates professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, staff meetings, workshops and serving on special committees.
- Liaisons with clinic staff and other colleagues
- Updates to hiring supervisor on status of open positions in BrassRing
- Constantly maintains a professional rapport and upholds TTUHSC values throughout all interactions.
- Oversees the fleet vehicle requesting and approvals
- Additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, etc.).
- Experience in Banner, Cognos reporting.
- Experience in managing multiple priorities.
