Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for more complex general ledger accounts as assigned.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management and board reports. ...
- Prepare annual budget and forecast worksheets, working with department managers to ensure the strategies and initiatives of management are articulated and communicated in the budget process.
- Lead the preparation of the quarterly NCUA Call Report and supporting documentation.
- Prepare other periodic regulatory filings for the State of Montana, Department of Commerce, and others.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and schedules necessary to support the annual audit and other audits and exams.
- Assist with preparation of meeting materials for recurring organizational meetings (e.g., ERM and Management ALCO).
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested.
- Support business unit managers by researching and responding to questions related to account activity.
- Serve as a technical resource for staff accountants as necessary.
- Continuing education to the extent necessary to remain current on accounting and regulatory guidance and technical skills relevant to this position.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
-- 3-5 years accounting experience preferred.
- Previous credit union/financial services experience preferred.
- Completes mandatory annual BSA training that includes Red Flag, Identity Theft, OFAC, CTR and SAR reporting and thresholds, as well as the safe keeping of member information, and passes any applicable tests.
