What's happening at Entrada Therapeutics? Our mission is to transform the treatment of devastating diseases by establishing a new class of medicines to engage intracellular targets that have long been considered inaccessible and undruggable.
Our Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV)-therapeutics represent a fundamental advancement in the field of intracellular therapeutics. They are designed to enable the efficient intracellular delivery of a wide range of therapeutics into a variety of organs and tissues, resulting in an improved therapeutic index. Through our EEV platform, we are building a diverse pipeline of RNA-, antibody- and enzyme-based programs for the potential treatment of neuromuscular, immunological, ocular, and metabolic diseases, among others.
Our lead oligonucleotide programs include ENTR-601-44 and ENTR-601-45 for the potential treatment of people living with Duchenne who are exon 44 and 45 skipping amenable, respectively, as well as our partnered candidate ENTR-701 targeting myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1).

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant must be an enthusiastic builder with a solid accounting background. This position will be a contributor to multiple aspects of accounting and financial reporting and responsibilities with cross-department collaboration opportunities and visibility to management.
Responsibilities
* Prepare key areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including cash, prepaid expenses, accounts payable and accrued expenses, including partnering with cross-functional business partners.
* Participate in day-to-day transactional accounting activities, including cash activity and accounts payable processing.
* Responsible for preparing respective sections of financial statements.
* Prepare quarterly review and annual audit support and interact with external auditors.
* Support the maintenance and process enhancements to our general ledger (Netsuite), P2P system (Coupa), and company master data.
* Assisting with process improvements and ensuring the effectiveness of our SOX 404 controls.
* Other ad hoc projects with Accounting Manager and Controller, as needed.

To thrive on our team, you will need to come with:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting required, additional post-graduate degree in accounting or finance is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and industry positions.
* CPA, or path towards completion, is strongly preferred.
* Experience within the Life Science industry a plus.
* In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and experience with technical accounting research.
* Ability to be a team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to embrace new challenges and the flexibility to adjust courses based on new findings and team inputs.
* Excellent writing, presentation, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment and ability to perform at a high level through change.
