Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• Prepare, review and oversee monthly reconciliations, perform research and/or assists other team members on researching complex ledger accounts to minimize risk and protect company assets and document the findings for management.
• Create and record complex journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and with respective supporting documentation with an understanding of the financial statement impact.
• Provide guidance to other team members including coaching, mentoring, and possible supervision. Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required. (i.e., Assisting in annual budgeting process, provide adequate support to external auditors, assist tax team)
• Perform comprehensive research and analysis. Use financial & accounting acumen to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations on accounting treatment of various business transactions.
• Development, implement and ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures. Establish "Best Practices" and formulate/document solutions as it relates to creating efficiencies.
