Senior Accountant Controller

Duties:

• Prepare documentation for External Auditors.
• Recommend Ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CFO if necessary.
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Delegate financial responsibilities to the accounting team.
• Prepare accurate financials and have month end closes done in a timely manner.
• Advise CFO of issues and trends noticed in the financials.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a senior-level position
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation
- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including financial report writing abilities
