Responsibilities:- Review/code purchase requisitions, work tickets, operating expense invoices and check requests in Concur.
- Complete and maintain month-end and year-end closing procedures in accordance with GAAP (including, but not limited to Hyperion financials and Lawson general ledger, accrual entries, revenue deferrals/recognition entries, rebills, revenue & cash reconciliations, cash book entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis), produce internal month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Analyze all key balance sheets (monthly), revenue and expense variances. Prepare monthly variance analysis for NTC.
- Play a pivotal role in the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. Collaborate with cross-functional leads to prepare actual vs. budget reports and variance analyses.
- Responsible for maintaining budget changes and annual budget calendarization in Hyperion system. Create and maintain budget presentations in Powerpoint for all Budget Committee review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with NYC Leasehold agreement and prepare quarterly rent reports.
- Manage all Special Events billings/payments and reconcile payroll/benefits and event related invoices. Produce P&L recaps for all events and required reporting for lease compliance.
- Responsible for the financial forecasting and preparation of all daily deployments for the US Open Security
- Responsible for reconciliation of all US Open Transportation expenses.
- Responsible for reconciliation of all US Open F&B revenue and event expenses.
- Proactively monitor trends to identify risks and opportunities across key revenue and expense categories.
- Responsible for assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
- Responsible for managing both internal and external audits. Ensure financial documents are distributed timely and investigate/resolve audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance.
- Assist the Senior Director of Finance with the preparation of Financial Models and ad hoc reporting required to support the Chief Operating Officer, NTC; Chief Financial Officer; Controller; and Board of Directors/Budget Committee.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- Excellent people skills with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team
- Excellent analytical, communication and organization skills
- BA in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- 6+ years of Finance/Accounting experience
- Proficiency in general ledger
- Prior Auditing Experience a plus
- Lawson experience a plus
- Hyperion/Oracle experience a plus
- Position is considered exempt

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $70,000-$80,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
