Job Description:
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, analyze, and verify financial data and account reports.
- Work with external auditors to provide deliverables in a timely manner.
- Support monthly accounting close functions such as bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and vendor accruals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) procedures and practices.
- Maintain and record all revenue recognition entries.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide overall support for the general accounting needs of the Company.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related
- 3+ years' experience of general ledger accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, if-statements, etc.)
- Prior experience using an ERP system
