Senior Accountant

General Description:
Provides accounting, budgeting and analytical support working closely with the Director of Finance (DoF) and Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration (SVP), the position provides financial analysis and reporting, coordinates the application of all payments and recording in accounting software and performs a variety of accounting and analytical functions; will assist with program projections. In addition, the position assists with state contract billing, and with Electronic Health Record (EHR) financial setups. Position works with highly confidential salary, contractor and strategic financial information for analysis, projections, and reconciliation work.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or an associates degree and significant relevant experience.
* 3-5 years experience in accounting, nonprofit or healthcare finance strongly preferred
* Experience with medical or healthcare billing systems strongly preferred.
* Proficiency with email, Excel and other MS office products and accounting software
* Experience working with budgets, projections, and financial analysis.
