Position: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
Lead and adhere to month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with the warehouse manager to establish and document inventory management policies, ensuring alignment between inventory counts and financial records.
Manage reimbursements efficiently through Concur, providing internal support to regional employees on travel and reimbursement policies.
Generate customer invoices as needed, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
Actively participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to team goals.
Provide support to the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable function as required.
Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in an accounting role.
Desired Qualifications:
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Knowledge of intercompany accounting and inventory management is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines consistently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with Great Plains and Concur preferred.
