Position Overview:
We are beauty company based in South Florida and our awesome products are distributed through a multi-channel strategy of online, beauty supply stores, distributors, drug and mass retail stores.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage our financial books and records, including receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations and financial reports. This individual is responsible for recording the day to day financial transactions of the company. He or she will work closely with our staff to implement the day to day accounting duties while analyzing financial reports and ensure legal compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and bank reconciliations prepare the quarterly and yearly tax documents for tax returns.
Essential Job Functions:
- · Prepare and record daily journal entries into NetSuite and Quickbooks
- · Imput and Reconcile general ledger accounts
- · Reconcile bank accounts
- · Track and maintain inventory records
- · Help maintain internal controls
- · Matching purchase orders to receipts to invoices
- · Posting approved invoices into NetSuite
- · Pay vendor invoices, print checks and track bank account balances
- · Prepare bank deposits
- · Comply with relevant reporting requirements
- · Assist with the calculation and preparation of tax payments
- · Assist with audits
- · Maintain a complete filing system to support financial records
- · Any other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- · Minimum of 5-10 years working in acounting/ finance accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll
- · Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- · High proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite is a big plus.
- Advanced Excel skills, minimum 3 years.
- CPA a plus
- · Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
- · Highly efficient organizational skills and the ability to develop and maintain an organized structure
- · Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
