Semi Truck Owner Operator Needed

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Owner Operator to join our team. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your own business operations while working in partnership with our company. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the transportation or logistics industry and possess strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle in compliance with company and industry regulations.
• Manage all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, route planning, and load management.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers while adhering to all relevant transportation laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses related to business operations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Monitor vehicle performance and schedule routine maintenance as needed to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with clients and other members of the transportation team.
• Manage financial aspects of the business, including invoicing, billing, and managing expenses to maximize profitability.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve business operations.
• Represent the company positively and uphold its reputation as a reliable and trusted transportation provider.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a truck driver or Owner Operator in the transportation industry.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of business management principles and practices.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in transportation or logistics is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $7,000.00 per week

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus
