Semi Truck Driver Part Time

United Warehousing Company, in Danville, KY is accepting applications for a Part TimeSemi Truck Driver. Part Time is 4-5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, starting between 10am-12 Noon. Local runs only. No weekends. Predominantly no touch freight.

Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate truck.
• Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
• Pre-inspect truck.
• Pick up goods and materials and deliver them as instructed.
• Rarely unload palletized items with forklift or pallet jack.
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
• Must be able to communicate properly and effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Keep Up to Date with regulations

United Warehousing Company operating hours are Monday through Friday, 730am – 400pm. Part Time position includes 8 paid holidays. Local runs only. Hourly pay is negotiable.

Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:

• Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
• Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift 10 pounds occasionally
• Able to pass random drug tests
• Clean driving record
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
• Listening and verbal communication skills
• Dependability is a MUST

Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CDL – Class A
• Certificate from an accredited CDL school
• 21 years or older
• At least six months of OTR experience
