Kalkomey is seeking a SEM Specialistwho is passionate about digital marketing. In this role, you will use your experience in paid search to contribute new and creative solutions to the team and leadership, manage multi-million dollar ad campaigns at scale, and use data to make key decisions. This is a key role in Kalkomey’s performance marketing team that will contribute directly to the growth and profitability of our portfolio of outdoor recreation brands!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive paid search performance for 20+ outdoor recreation brands with a footprint across the United States and Canada.
- Optimize paid search accounts to maximize ROAS and grow impression share across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms.
- Craft ad copy that is on brand, puts users first in communicating our value propositions, and drives gains in ad engagement, click through, and conversion.
- Provide landing page optimization guidance and recommendations to drive post-click performance improvements.
- Proactively identify areas of opportunity, present impactful solutions, and implement strategies to grow paid search returns.
- Track, measure, and analyze ad-platform metrics and business KPIs, and succinctly communicate insights and trends to leadership.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of paid search experience supporting a B2C brand
- Proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Proficiency working with tools like Google Analytics
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of using quantitative data to develop actionable insights using various tools including BI dashboards.
- Experience managing ad budgets in excess of +$5 million a year.
- A deep understanding of key performance metrics such as ROAS, ARPU, CAC, and LTV and how to manipulate marketing efforts to maximize impact on core KPIs
- Understanding of landing page best practices and optimization techniques.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
