LocalStorage is looking to hire a Facility Manager to work approximately 8-12 hours per week at the LocalStorage sites in the Philipsburg, NJ area.
This is a great part-time flexible role for law enforcement, fire fighters, retired or semi-retired individuals looking for additional income.
LocalStorage is a fast-growing self-storage operator and the individual in this position will have the opportunity to grow with the company and potentially manage more facilities in the area.
Responsibilities include
- ensuring grounds and facility are in excellent condition, including ensuring no garbage or weeds
- reviewing, cleaning and preparing vacated units for rent
- lock checks to ensure all units are properly locked and note any vacated customers
- meeting vendors and customers for assistance
- basic property maintenance work and repairs, which includes ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Applicant requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in self-storage, law enforcement, maintenance, facility cleaning, construction or repair or a related industry. Experience in self-storage is preferred!
- Strong references and a history of honesty and integrity, trust is a key requirement
- Self-starter, motivated individual
- Attention to detail, organized, skilled at cleaning and maintaining things in impeccable order
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
