Self-Storage Facility Associate

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Facilities Associate to join our team. As a Facilities Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Duties:

Customer Service:

- Greet visitors and respond to inquiries both in person and over the phone

- Process payments

- Assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs

- Make collection calls

- Sell merchandise.

Maintenance:

- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep facilities clean and presentable by cleaning unit turnovers, vacuuming and mopping floors

- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs

- Perform lockouts and cut locks

- Maintaining cleanliness of bathrooms.

- Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

- Uphold safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment

-Engage in outdoor upkeep activities such as garbage collection, weed whacking, and general property maintenance.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs or specialized services

Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent upselling skills to promote additional services or products
- Proficient phone etiquette when interacting with clients or colleagues
- Sales experience is a plus
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and financial transactions
- Exceptional customer service abilities to provide a positive experience for clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.63 - $22.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
