Overview:
To grow community by providing personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships with guests and result in a brand-aligned experience.
Responsibilities: - Proactively monitor and act to ensure smooth guest flow through the self-checkout area.
- Proactively assist guests with register operation.
- Perform item checks and overrides as needed, adhering to all item sale rules and regulations.
- Monitor transactions and guest behaviors to eliminate shrink.
- Monitor transactions to ensure accurate order completion.
- Process guest transactions as a service, when scheduled, or when directed to do so within the self-checkout area.
- Accurately process transactions to ensure proper recording of sales when assisting guests or when operating a register.
- Accurately handle all monies and tender to ensure proper accounting of all transactions.
- Properly bag guests’ orders, place in cart or hand to guest, and follow the Lowes Foods carryout practices.
- Work well with all team members to grow community.
- Maintain sanitation standards through proper cleaning of equipment, work spaces, cases, or any other area that requires cleaning.
- Utilize the Guest Arrival standard to ensure adequate guest service levels.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly..
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Demonstrates successful use of math skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Effective communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
- Ability to bend and lift to load guests orders in to cars.
