Baptist Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Seizure Long-Term Monitoring Technologist to join our esteemed Baptist Neurology Group in Jacksonville, FL! This will be a Full-Time Night shift opportunity, and night differentials are offered. No call required! 

 

ABRET Certifiecation is required, ensuring that you bring the hgihest level of expertise to your role. 

 

As a Seizure Long-Term Monitoring Technologist, you will be responsible for: 

• Provides a 24-hour visual monitoring, and subsequent intervention when indicated, of seizure patients in the Neuro ICU and EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit).
• Maintains components of the monitoring system and communicates with staff and members of the Comprehensive Epilepsy team assigned to a patient regarding the patient's seizure status.
• Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
• Maintains expertise in clinical and electrical seizure identification, management and documentation.
• Reports to the Baptist Neurology Neurodiagnostic Manager and is a member of the multidisciplinary team caring for patients with epilepsy.
