Baptist Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Seizure Long-Term Monitoring Technologist to join our esteemed Baptist Neurology Group in Jacksonville, FL! As a Seizure Long-Term Monitoring Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Provides a 24-hour visual monitoring, and subsequent intervention when indicated, of seizure patients in the Neuro ICU and EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit).
- Maintains components of the monitoring system and communicates with staff and members of the Comprehensive Epilepsy team assigned to a patient regarding the patient's seizure status.
- Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
- Maintains expertise in clinical and electrical seizure identification, management and documentation.
- Reports to the Baptist Neurology Neurodiagnostic Manager and is a member of the multidisciplinary team caring for patients with epilepsy.
