Responsibilities:

• Facilitates groups, individual, and/or family counseling as assigned.
• Ensures treatment delivered (group, individual, and family) is appropriate to any special needs identified during the initial assessment or during the treatment process including the participant's age, gender, and culture.
• Ensures treatment received is based upon the needs and service frequencies identified and is in line with the goals outlined in the treatment plan.
• Ensures that barriers are addressed with the person served and treatment plans are updated when indicated.
• Familiarizes self with initial treatment plan for each participant who is assigned to their care.
• Addresses needs and objectives of each participant's treatment plan and documents progress made towards objectives and/or areas of needed improvement and a plan of action to achieve improvement.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in a field related to behavioral health required. (The exception of those who were licensed prior to 2004 but are currently licensed independently is acceptable).
• Licensure at the associate or independent level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor required
