Security Systems Engineer

Job Overview:

Pentegra is seeking a talented and dedicated Security Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, installation, and commissioning of low voltage Security Systems, serving as a liaison between our sales team, operations team, and valued clients.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborating closely with our sales and operations teams to engineer and implement Access Control and Video Surveillance systems.
• Crafting detailed solutions tailored to our clients' needs, translating requirements into actionable system designs.
• Participating in project meetings to ensure alignment with client expectations and project schedules.
• Providing hands-on field support, guiding installation staff, and troubleshooting system configurations.
• Managing project documentation and materials to ensure seamless project execution.
• Embracing ongoing learning and development to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Power Skills You'll Bring:

• A strong understanding of card access and video surveillance systems, coupled with experience in installation and product knowledge.
• Proficiency in basic networking and familiarity with IP addresses and VLANs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
• High school diploma required; additional certifications or education in related fields are a plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications That Will Set You Apart:

• Previous experience designing low-voltage Security Systems and familiarity with drafting software such as AutoCAD or Visio.
• Certifications in CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or Windows are advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with equipment rack build, system troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with leading hardware and software solutions in the security industry, such as Genetec, Axis, or Bosch.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
