Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Guard Supervisor to join our team. The Security Guard Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing security operations, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding security protocols and procedures.

Currently Hiring For: Thursday Friday, Saturday & Sunday only. Hours and shift times are based on what is needed. Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

**Responsibilities:**

- Supervise and coordinate security staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

- Conduct regular site patrols

- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and take appropriate action as necessary.

- Enforce company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

- Maintain accurate records and reports of security-related activities.

- Collaborate with management and other departments to address security concerns and implement effective solutions.

- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years as a Security Supervisor or in a similar role.

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

- Ability to lead and motivate a security team.

- Visit Client sites ensuring security staff adheres to Metro Security policies and standards.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and external parties.

- Proficient in the use of security technology and systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems or willingness to learn .

- Willingness to learn Metro Security's online guard patrol system, and monitor employee patrols and incident reports.

- Ability to assess and mitigate security risks.

- Experience in developing and implementing security plans.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to make quick and effective decisions in high-pressure situations.

- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to security.

- Ensure security staff complies with company standards and procedures

- Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints.

- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting heavy objects.

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

- Experience in emergency response planning and execution.

- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is desirable. Will be trained if you do not hold a CPR/First Aid certificate.

- Willingness to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, if needed.

- Be able to provide other security officers support and/or assistance while on you are on shift if they contact Metro Security's employee phone line.

- Complete employee work schedules, and handle payroll matters, if needed.

- Availability for on-call duties, if needed.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
