Security Representative

We are seeking to hire a Security Specialist to support our site in Anniston Alabama. The selected candidate will be required to execute the following duties and responsibilities.
Assists in ensuring compliance with government and company security policies, procedures and directives. Also assists in the development and implementation of compliance standards and policies in supporting Government and BAE Systems requirements.
Assists briefing and creating employee security trainings, guidance, counseling and security oversight. Able to conduct formal and informal training relating to Security Education and Motivation topics.

• Responsible for direct supervision of contract security guards
• Maintains accountability databases and perform company badging and identification functions and access capabilities to facilities through the Department Security Systems Computer System (C-Cure)
• Visitor Control, ensures procedures related to the entry and exit of persons are followed, vetting requirements, including badging and escort procedures
• Maintains security records in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures
• Conducts security audits and investigations in accordance with policy.
• Conduct Physical Security Assessments of all buildings and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
• May perform other security duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of security related experience or 5-7 years security related experience in lieu of degree.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with the PCs and office software
• Good report writing skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Decision making and reasoning skills
• Knowledge and experience of managing guard force
• Must be capable of walking around large campuses and lifting 40 lbs.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $62550 - $106380
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
