Security Policy Manager, Threat Disruption

The Meta Threat Disruption team is dedicated to identifying, tracking, and disrupting adversarial threat actors that seek to cause harm across the internet, including through our platforms. This work includes understanding the risks we face, crafting policies that govern acceptable use of our platforms, working across Facebook to build detection and enforcement regimes to counter threats and keep people safe, and working with partners in government, civil society, and across industry to help drive whole-of-society responses to protect victim communities and tackle security threats.We are looking for a Security Policy Manager to work with our Director of Threat Disruption, IO Policy Lead, and Disruption Pillar leads to enable high priority projects across Meta’s Security Policy team. This role will focus on enabling our Adversarial Threat Reporting, project managing our investigative review process across teams, and working with product teams to implement scaled detection and enforcement solutions.

Security Policy Manager, Threat Disruption Responsibilities:

• Project manage the Unified Disruptions Review post-decision process
• Partner with key XFN teams to drive Adversarial Threat Reporting across the line
• Partner with product and ops team to implement scaled detection solutions
• Work with Ops, i3, and outsourcing teams to ensure that high priority escalations are reviewed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in policy, technology, law, or government
• Undergraduate degree
• Demonstrated experience to manage projects, tasks, and track deliverables
• Understanding of current threats and trends in cybersecurity, including influence operations
• Experience to work in a dynamic environment
• Experience to operate independently and with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in security, cybersecurity, or law enforcement roles
• Familiarity with our existing public enforcement policies and procedures
• Experience in operations, project management, or program management at technology companies and/or in government
