Security Officer

You will serve as a SECURITY OFFICER in the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) of NMRTC LEMOORE CA.
This announcement uses the Expansion of Direct Hire Authority Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Interpreting Office of Personnel Management security policies and evaluate adequacy of command security programs.
• Formulating policies and procedures pertaining to information and personnel security programs.
• Using security equipment and devices to detect or prevent vulnerabilities to personnel and property.
• Performing multi-security functions utilizing separate and distinct processes and methods to arrive at a sound decision.
• Coordinating with Human Resources to ensure the proper access, background checks, and other administrative critical evaluations are created and maintained for all staff on a by need basis.
