Responsibilities:

• Patrol library premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or theft.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Great customer service
• Must be able to operate a smart device
• Computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous security experience preferred but not required
• Must possess a valid Hawaii Guard Card(company can assist you obtaining a guard card)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
