Security Officer
to join our team! Featuring 1878 rooms, this renowned property is a five-block walk to Central Park and two to Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. Grand Central Station, Broadway theaters, and Times Square are only a half mile away.
What will I be doing?
As a
Security Officer
the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position, hold a valid New York state security guard license, and have full availability to work varying shifts (including overnights) across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Patrol the interior and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions.
- Respond to emergencies including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
- Promote safe work practices.
- Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed.
- Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Shift:
Flexibility is necessary for this role.
Pay Range:
$39.40 / hour
