Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Officer to join our team on a government contract. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of government facilities and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of integrity, excellent judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is a Level 1 position with opportunities for advancement.
Details: Please note this is a Part-Time graveyard position
Responsibilities:
- Control access to the facility by ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, such as fires or medical incidents, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Write detailed reports outlining any security incidents or observations.
- Provide assistance to visitors and employees as needed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid guard card
- Powers to arrest certificate
- At least 6 months experience in the security industry.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
