Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property.

• Managing access to premises, enforcing property rules and regulations.

• Reporting any suspicious activities or threats to security, and responding to emergencies.

• Providing a visible presence that deters safety and security threats.

• Documenting daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid security guard license and certifications as required by state or local laws.

• Proven experience in a Security Officer role is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to act with integrity and professionalism in various situations.

• Willingness to undergo background checks and meet employment eligibility requirements.
