Security Lead Technician/Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technician/Supervisor to join our team. We're a small company that is growing fast and looking for the right person. The right person will have experience with various access control and CCTV systems as well as the installation of structured data cabling and physical network infrastructure.

This is a position that will wear many hats and your opinion will matter. You will help shape and ultimately lead our security and data team. Duties:

- Lead by example

- Troubleshoot security and data systems

- Participate in the hiring and evaluation of employees

- Train new employees

- Cross-train existing employees from our electrical team

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe work environment

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of commercial and residential security and data systems

- Experience in field service operations is beneficial

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Excellent problem solving ability

- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functionality

- Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate employees to achieve goals
