We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a field technician role.
This integral role requires a quality individual who can bring a positive, can-do attitude and work efficiently as part of an installation team.

Job Responsibilities 

Our field technicians install a wide variety of products such as: cameras, access control, security systems, networking devices, televisions, home connectivity devices, and more. 

As a new hire, you will train with our lead technicians at multiple job sites and learn all about our systems and how to install them. Once you learn the ropes, you will move from a competent installer, to managing projects from start to finish, to gaining mastery as a low voltage technician on a wide variety of complex systems. 

A typical day looks like this: 

-Start work on time 

-Dispatch with team for the day with instructions and directions of work to be completed 

-Perform installation work; completing regular check-ins with supervisor throughout the day 

-Upon completion of installation: cleanup work site and demonstrate to clients how to use and get the most out of the products they have purchased 

-Return to office at end of day and complete all work notes, check in with supervisor, and complete other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications 

-Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with both office staff, fellow technicians, and our client base 

-Motivated individual with a positive attitude 

-Attention to detail and highly organized 

-Teamwork mentality – able to work with a team 

-Punctual and reliable 

-Able to complete work that involves physical labor (i.e. working outside and inside year-round lifting heavy objects, working in attics, climbing ladders, using power tools, etc.) 

-Familiar with computers/technology 

-Good analytical/troubleshooting skills 

-Motivation to work towards achieving certifications 

-Ability to work overtime if needed 

-Background and driving record check required 

-Experience running wires, experience with networking, and experience on commercial job sites is preferred
