As a Senior Threat Response Analyst at Kaseya, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital infrastructure from potential threats external and internal. You will work alongside experienced professionals and have the opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity. Prior experience as a security focused systems administrator or cyber security analyst is required. This person must have effective communication and project management skills and be able to navigate through ambiguity. Solid executive presence with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders is crucial.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a cutting-edge technology company, we are searching for a Sr. Threat Response Analyst to join our exceptional team. Kaseya is a leader in delivering groundbreaking solutions that empower businesses to thrive in the digital age. In this position, you will Assist with the triage, review, and handling of Security Operations Center Service Catalog Deliverables under advisement of more experienced peers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Incident response management and triage including containment and eradication of confirmed threats.
- Develop and maintain Incident Response procedures, playbooks and documentation.
- Mentor mid and junior team members and provide guidance on complex threat analysis and incident handling
- Provide timely and accurate incident reports
- Conduct proactive and ad-hoc threat hunts for malicious activity.
- dentify suspicious activity, potential incidents, and respond to security events in real-time.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as BTL2, GCIH, SSCP, GISF, GSEC, GSOC, Microsoft Certified: Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
- Cross domain certifications: GREM, GCFE, GCFA, GCNA
- A deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices and a commitment to maintaining a strong security posture.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and guide a team in Incident Response activities.
- 3+ years in a SOC or Threat Operations based role (high performer)
- 1+ year as a mid-level CIRT Analyst (high performer)
