LEAD Security Group Inc. seeks a devoted person who is a hands-on recruiter and human resource generalist, preferably with experience within the contract Security Guard industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Collaborate with department managers regularly and proactively identify hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like governmental and NGO "back to work" programs, social media networks, and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter has an academic HR background and experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment, hiring, and registration of guards.
- Maintain employee record-keeping to ensure that all records are maintained in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with employment and Security Guard licensing laws.
- Handle employee performance issues and referrals for appropriate counseling.
- Collaborate with administrative staff in implementing training policies and special training certifications and ensuring these policies and certification records are updated as required.
- Serve as liaison between managers and employees.
- Perform other duties related to human resources as required and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Security Guard human resource management.
- Experience in interviewing and selecting security personnel.
- Working knowledge of guard registration procedures and licensing laws.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
- Must possess solid communication skills to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
- Skilled in conflict resolution.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Google Docs, Word, and Excel).
SALARY:
- $23.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of one year of Human Resource Department experience, preferably in the contract Security Guard or related industry.
- Required College degree.
