As a team member of this New hotel, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to shape the guest experience from the ground up. This flagship hotel features a modern design, 188 spacious suites, amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, over 7,500 square feet of meeting and event space and a 2,500 square foot rooftop restaurant and bar and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The hotel opens December 2023 and is located at 192 Haywood Street, Asheville, NC 28801.
The Role:
As a Security Guard, you’re not just patrolling – you’re creating an atmosphere of safety and comfort that allows our guests to have a great stay.
What You'll Do:
- Keep a watchful eye on the hotel premises, ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to guest concerns and security requests with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Assist with lost and found inquiries and ensure the safekeeping of lost items.
- Embrace our commitment to safety by participating in regular safety training.
- Maintain an approachable and friendly presence that encourages guests to feel safe and at ease.
Your Skills and Style:
- Your commitment to safety is unwavering – you take your role as a guardian seriously.
- Friendliness and approachability are your trademarks – you know how to make guests feel comfortable.
- Previous security experience is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong communication skills ensure that you can handle any situation with poise.
- You're physically fit and capable of patrolling the hotel grounds.
- A flexible schedule is your ally, as you will be needed on weekends and holidays. Overnight hours are possible.
