We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. This position is in New Jersey (Secaucus and Jersey City).

Position Summary:

This position is located in multiple locations in New Jersey. We are seeking a polished Security officer who can represent our brand. Main responsibilities include making sure the safety of all in the facility.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Maintain a high visibility presence.
• Prevent all illegal and inappropriate actions.
• Ensure all clients are accounted for.
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as needed.
• Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the client.
• Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents.
• Candidate is responsible for making and access control.

Requirements:

• Professional appearance and attitude are a MUST.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active SORA certification.
• Must be punctual and may need a reliable mean of transportation.
• Must be available to Morning and evenings.
• Must work varied schedules and overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and remain alert.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must have at least a 1 year of security experience.
• Customer service experience is a must.
• Computer knowledge.

• The rate for this role is $16.00 to 18.00 hourly. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
