Security Guard for Council Bluffs food pantry (part-time)

Freelance Security Guard needed for Together Inc. pantry in Council Bluffs until they can fill the role internally. *This is expected to be a temporary position*. Two days 7hrs between both days. Days of work would be:

• Tuesday 130pm-4pm
• Wednesday 1130am-4pm
• Option open to take entire shift (Mon-Fri) upon performance
• Opportunities for continued work at other times and locations exist based upon performance

Kaga Ventures Inc. is a local Security contracting company that provides physical security solutions for clients in and around the Omaha area. We are looking for security-minded individuals who take professionalism seriously. Our work is primarily site- and event- based security, but we do perform other security services as requested.
We are primarily looking for part-time, pick-up work at the moment,ideally someone that has another primary source of income and is searching for supplemental income, roughly 4-10 hours a week.

*You WILL be required to become certified for Private Security in Iowa. We will reimburse this cost for you*

Security personnel will:

• control access points
• patrol properties
• serve as visible deterrent to unauthorized personnel
• Detecting any suspicious behavior
• preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior

The goal is to help clients in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping facilities and areas of operation safe and problem-free. Interpersonal social skills and de-escalation mindsets will be priority in consideration for position.

Our format of using independent contractors allows you to pick up additional work at our other locations in addition to the pantry, allowing you to make your own schedule, including picking up day-of work when available.
We are especially interested in those applicants looking to establish themselves as professional Private Security Contractors able to respond successfully to dynamic situations with minimal oversight.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
