Security Front Gate Attendant

If you answered yes to all the questions above, then you should know Congressional Country Club is seeking a Security Front Gate Attendant. The Gate Attendant is responsible for controlling and ensuring the security of all incoming traffic. Monitoring and directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic in accordance with Front Gate, and Club policy. Reporting any unsafe conditions and activities.

What will be expected of you:

• Greet vehicle and pedestrian traffic consisting of members, guests, employees, and visitors.
• Enforce access policy in accordance with the Front Gate Manual to minimize unauthorized individuals from entering Club grounds and buildings.
• Record vehicle and personal information as stated in the Front Gate Manual.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Report medical emergencies, criminal activity, accidents, damage to property, and any incidents regarding security that occur on Club property.
• Assist local law enforcement and Fire Department personnel agencies during their response to incidents involving Club property or personnel.
• Administer CPR, First Aid, and Defibrillation as trained.
• Answer Guard House Telephone
• May perform maintenance duties, such as sweeping guardhouse areas, and cleaning windows.
• Perform other tasks and duties related to the Front Gate as assigned or requested by your supervisor.

How we determine your qualifications:

• High School or Equivalent Degree, required
• CPR/AED certification preferred
• 1-year customer service experience preferred
• 1-year security experience preferred
