SalaryPeak Security is looking for those who are ready to make a difference, love variety in their work, and have a flexible enough schedule to pick up shifts when needed. This opportunity is a part-time position but hours may range anywhere from 8 - 40 hours per week as well as has potential for overtime. This position pays $17.00 - $19.00 depending on experience. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- 1+ years of private security experience preferred
- Clean background and ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen
- Must have a cell phone to communicate with our dispatch team (your safety is just as important!)
- Able to comfortably alternate between standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs for the duration of the shift (4-12 hours)
- Customer Service oriented
- Flexible schedule to fill in last minute call offs
- Available to work nights, holidays, and weekends according to assigned schedule
What You'll Do
- Cover open shifts as needed
- Receive training for a variety of different sites in the event of staffing issues
- Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
- Provide customer service to all clientele as well as customers, vendors, and members of the public
- Report observations of suspicious behavior and identify safety or security risks
- Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
- Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials to accessing buildings
- Alert appropriate personnel about issues regarding loss prevention, client concerns, or customer needs
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents
- Complete incident and daily activity reports
- Wear Peak issued security uniform
Weapons are not required for these jobs. They are Customer Service based.
