Northrop Grumman is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to be a member of the BWI Security Operations Center. The Security Operations Center (SOC) is operational 24x7 and monitors CCTV, Intrusion Detection Systems, Access Control, Burglar and Fire Alarms for the Rolling Meadows Campus. The SOC is also the communications hub for incident reporting, alarm dispatching, area access requests, and visitor check in during non- business hours, emergency response and employee emergency notification messaging. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communicative skills and the ability to follow process and procedures. This position requires at a minimum an Secret Clearance. This schedule is rotating but includes 12 hours shifts and at times a deviation from normal schedule to cover open hours on weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience, i.e., investigative agency, police force, outside security agency, Northrop Security Department.
Ability to work swing shift, scheduled position covering 24x7 operations with all shifts being worked to include weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime.
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level Clearance.
Excellent communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 year experience working in Physical Security or within the commercial alarm monitoring center business.
Working knowledge of Video Surveillance systems, Lenel, and NISPOM requirements for DOD classified areas.
