Work you'll do

  • Implement risk management programs for our federal clients by utilizing NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks.
  • Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams.
  • Work alongside federal clients to help them mitigate risk with the use of continuous monitoring and incident response.
  • Establish security controls to ensure protection of client systems.
  • Implement cutting edge security tools for our federal clients.
  • Lead the Security and Privacy Control assessment team and conduct independent comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security/Privacy Controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls. 
  • Support activities for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of new systems, and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM), in compliance with NIST SP 800-53 controls within the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-37)
  • Develop and maintain assessment process documentation including Security and Privacy Control Assessment Methodology, Information Security and Privacy Continuous Monitoring Methodology, and Security and Privacy Control Assessment SOP
  • Develop and maintain Security and Privacy Control Assessment project management documentation including Master Schedule and Project Plan
  • Prepare assessment reports documenting the findings and recommendations from the Security and Privacy Control Assessment
  • Provide audit support and manual testing of Secure Baseline Configuration Guides
  • Document Security and Privacy Control Assessment lessons learned and trend analyses

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role 
  • Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53
  • Experience working with cyber security tools
  • Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber trainings)
  • 4+ years of experience working as an ISSO, with operating systems, databases, assessments, POA&Ms and web applications
  • One certification required: CISSP, CISA, CISM or Security+
 

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $62,985 to $ 110,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
