SalaryGeneral Scope of Duties: prewiring and installing of systems (security, access control, video surveillance equipment, fire monitoring systems, ECT...). Also service all systems installed. Train customers on use of equipment installed.
Equipment Duties: use of drill, hand tools, ladders, vehicle, computer, multiple programmers, man lifts
Duties and Responsibilities: installation programming and testing of systems, trouble shooting and repairing of systems, being on call for service, helping customers with system troubles,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: how to use drills, hand tools, basic knowledge of electrical wiring, building structures, able to be adaptive on the fly, able to communicate easily, think out of the box, be reliable.
fire alarm experience, CCTV and access control
Able to lift 10 lb tool bag, lift ladders at chest level and overhead for set up and storage on vehicle, pull wire for extended periods of time at head and overhead level for long periods of time. Long periods of time sitting (while driving), standing, kneeling and on all 4’s while crawling in small spaces. Periods of ladder climbing, balance on ladder while working.
Credentials and Experience: able to properly set up and climb ladders, willing to learn, able to drive, hold a valid driver’s license.
