Job Summary:
Join this highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments, directly contributing to protecting our nation and our war fighters. We are looking for a Section Leaderin the Effectors Signal Processing: Air Power, Advanced Technologies Department. This department solves complex Radar Signal Processing problems to support, drive, and enable key business captures, current programs, special projects, and wide-ranging business opportunities. This position is in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- You will act as a key manager and mentor for 10 - 15 Engineers
- You will influence, foster teamwork, and enable interdependent execution
- You will participate in talent acquisition, goal setting, performance development, and appraisal of assigned employees
- You will ensure each direct report has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and career advancement.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree
- Eight (8) years of experience in Radar Signal Processing OR Five (5) years of related experience with a relevant advanced degree
- Three (3) years of experience specifically in missile system applications
- Four (4) year of relevant experience directly on customer programs.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or technical lead role
- An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Experience with hardware/software integration
- Experience developing and mentoring new employees
- Communicating with different levels of employees, departments, and customers
- Developing and presenting technical briefings to internal and external customers
- Team building
- Experience with interviewing and hiring new employees
- Experience and knowledge of the Air Power or Advanced Technologies portfolio
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Earned Value Management System Certification
- Experience and knowledge of the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), Proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Internal Research and Development (IRAD) efforts, intellectual property (IP) process
