SECRETARY-VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

DEPARTMENT: Elkhart County Extension

HIRING RANGE: $18.25-$20.28/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: 36 hours/week

LOCATION OF POSITION: Goshen

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: None

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for greeting clients and maintaining Adult Volunteer paperwork.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Working knowledge of standard office procedures, 4-H database management system, and fair registration software/database and ability to apply such knowledge to a variety of interrelated processes, tasks, and operations
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational and communications skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures/practices
• Pre-employment background check
