Position Overview: As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions to empower our organization with actionable insights. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization, analytics, and proficiency in Qlik and Databricks technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BI Solution Development:

   • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end BI solutions using Qlik and Databricks.
   • Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.

2. Data Integration and Transformation:

   • Integrate and transform data from diverse sources to create a unified and reliable data source for BI solutions.
   • Implement ETL processes and data pipelines using Databricks.

3. Query Performance Optimization:

   • Optimize data retrieval and query performance to ensure the responsiveness of BI dashboards.
   • Implement best practices for data modeling and indexing.

4. Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide effective BI solutions.
   • Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

5. User Training and Support:

   • Provide training to end-users on utilizing BI tools for self-service analytics.
   • Offer ongoing support and address user inquiries and issues.

6. Quality Assurance:

   • Conduct thorough testing of BI solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to business requirements.
   • Perform troubleshooting and debugging as needed.

7. Documentation:

   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, data models, and workflows.
   • Ensure documentation is accessible to the team for reference.

8. Stay Updated:

   • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in BI technologies, and best practices.
   • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new BI tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist with a focus on Qlik and Databricks.
• Proven expertise in developing Qlik Sense dashboards and reports.
• Experience with data integration, transformation, and ETL using Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
