Responsibilities
- Must consistently provide excellent customer service experience.
- Refer to electronic parts catalogues and parts manuals to identify the correct truck parts for specific make, model and year of truck.
- Ability to locate the items from the warehouse and issue the parts and accessories to mechanics and to customers from the Parts Counter.
- Must be able to locate availability of the parts if the dealer is out of stock.
- Cleanliness must be maintained in the work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Organizational skills and follow through.
- Required to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally assist in lifting or moving up to 100 lbs. using upper body strength and mechanical lifting equipment.
- Required to spend long hours sitting or standing.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers, co-workers, and general public.
- Must be self-motivated, hardworking, and dependable person.
- Must possess the ability to be adaptable and willing to perform assignments beyond normal duties when asked.
- Must possess the ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive feedback.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Excel.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience in field.
- Fork Truck License preferred.
- Computer skills using ADP Dealer Management system and various OEM inventory catalogue programs preferred.
- Heavy Duty Truck: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be available for night shifts (4pm-12pm)
