6.2 million acres of Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Mount Denali, the highest point in North America. The park welcomes over half a million visitors per year. By road, the area is 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Buses traverse the 90-mile road daily throughout the warm summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp.
The Warehouse Manager is accountable for the Denali area product inventory, purchasing, receiving, warehouse processes, and distribution of products through the execution of standard operational policies and procedures. Manages the warehouse team by coordinating, coaching, and performance management. Achieves financial objectives by managing key metrics, identifying opportunities, and developing action plans for improvement. Responsible for ensuring prompt, pleasant and complete service is provided to internal and external contacts needing product or information.
Job Responsibilities
Directs in-bound and out-bound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of products
Tracks, reconciles, and orders product inventories for the Denali Park Village and Doyon/Aramark Joint Venture in Denali National Park to effectively manage out-of-stock, out-of-date products, and weeks-on-hand to fulfill client needs
Communicates with affected managers and frontline personnel regarding any voids, delays or other product changes that may affect client deliveries as well as discussing alternative product needs where required to meet client demand
Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment
Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates, and pulls product and ensures that work is completed using safe practices.
Responsible for the training, coaching and performance management of each member of the team
Monitors workflow and ensure proper inventories are pulled for daily routes
Supervises the completion of all daily warehouse work

Qualifications
Requires at least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or related operations
Heavy lifting. Physically demanding job ? up to 50 lbs
Valid drivers license, DOT certified or willing to become
Must have prior experience with direct reports including coaching, and developing talent.
Requires a bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
Must have excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
