Under administrative supervision, this position is responsible for the planning, promotion, development and supervision, of a specialized activity of recreation as a community-wide program.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions promptly, firmly, and fairly, basing them on the rules and not on partisan players and spectators.
• Be firm, courteous, positive, and dignified in your attitude towards players and coaches.
• Have full charge of and be responsible for proper conduct of the game.
• Report to the game 15 minutes before start.
• Report any problems with players, field, scorer, or other related items to the Recreation office in a timely manner.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Knowledge of USSSA Softball Rules

Experience: None

Certifications/Licenses: None

Other Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Extensive knowledge of rules, ability to work independently, good decision making skills, and the ability to deal with the public diplomatically.
